An inclusive early learning center

The Friendship Academy provides an excellent early childhood educational preschool
experience for the children of parents seeking a research-driven and enriched program. The Friendship Academy features a child-friendly and safety-oriented facility, an enclosed playground and excellent, caring and experienced staff. Our expertise in teaching children has given us unique insight into how all children learn.

Certified teachers and paraprofessionals provide an exciting, stimulating, and
developmentally and age appropriate learning environment.  Accreditation and licensing for our centers include the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Private Academic License/PDE, DHS/Childcare License, which require and monitor high academic sta
ndards as well as all important safety standards for the children.

We are excited to announce that the Friendship Academy is a member of the Pennsylvania Positive Behavior Support Network. Positive Behavior Intervention Supports, or PBIS, is a framework for supporting the social and emotional development of our students. The goal of implementing PBIS is to create an environment where every child feels good about coming to school. This is accomplished by designing classroom settings that promote engagement and by building positive relationships among students, families, and school staff. Through the process of PBIS, our staff will work together to ensure that children understand behavior expectations, receive instruction in social skills, and those with the most persistent challenging behavior receive individualized assistance.
